We have a bus for tomorrow! Bus leaves at 7 a.m. sharp.
Please make sure your runner has a lunch packed. There will be the normal items provided water, chocolate milk, fruit snacks and granola bars. The Booster Club have some extra snacks; honey crisp apples, bananas, beef sticks, carrots, and string cheese. This is not to be their lunch but to supplement if they are hungry. There may be good items for sale but we do not know the cost or what will be available.
Runners can order Milaca apparel. Money, item number, color and shirt size must be received by Friday. There will be no on-site sales of t-shirts this year.
To place order you must let the coaches know by Friday the following (no exceptions):

3. Color of shirt
Please note payment must be turned in by Friday as well.

A team BBQ will be held before the practice with the AAA program at Sunshine Park. Team members will be fed between practices tomorrow night.

Parent Meeting, Naked Beef, Apparel Pick-up and Raffle Ticket Information - Sunday, September 19, 2021
Thank you to everyone that helped get runners to Lakeville. Again, we apologize for the inconvenience this caused.
We would like to have a short parent meeting Sunday at the high school at 3:45pm.
Naked Beef final pick up will be at 4:00 p.m.
There will be apparel pick up as well.
You can turn in your raffle tickets and money if you have sold your tickets. The raffle winner will be drawn Thursday at the Beef O Brady final fundraiser. All money and raffle tickets need to be turned in by then.
There is NO BUSING for tomorrow’s race.
Unfortunately, the board receive this information this evening. Due to liability issues, the board and team representatives are unable to coordinate runners’ transportation to the race. Thus, parents will need to transport their runners to the race in Lakeville, MN. Please have your runners in Lakeville an hour before their race time.
Runners should leave Andover no later than the times listed below:
1:30 Boys JV
2:00 Girls JV
2:30 Boys Varsity
3:00 Girls Varsity
3:30 Boys C team
4:00 Girls C team
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause runners and families.
Please know that the school is working closely with transportation companies and the school district transportation department on providing transportation to future events. However, we may encounter this throughout the season.
The Andover AD is working with the Anoka High School AD to find transportation for both teams to potentially share a bus for those runners that don’t have rides. However, please do NOT count on this transportation, as they are having a difficult time obtaining transportation.
DIRECTIONS TO THE MEET:
From the North: From Interstate 35 south, take CR 46 Exit Left (EAST) to Ipava Ave. go Right (SOUTH) TEAM BUSES CONTINUE 1.2 miles to MICHAUD PARK Entrance, take SECOND LEFT and STAY RIGHT. SPECTATORS/CARS FOLLOW PARKING SCROLL BOARD INFORMATION. Continue to Michaud Park if still available, IF FULL, TURN RIGHT (WEST) on 163rd St. Follow 163rd and turn LEFT at the first parking entrance. Follow signs/volunteers.
ON-SITE PARKING AT MICHAUD PARK IS EXTREMELY LIMITED.
SPECTATORS SHOULD EXPECT TO PARK OFF-SITE AND ALLOW TIME FOR SHUTTLE OR WALKING.
Free parking and Shuttle will be at Hosanna Lutheran Church located on 160th Street (CR 46) and Ipava Ave. (approx. 1 mile from race site).
Other Parking options – on-street in nearby neighborhoods in unrestricted zones.
